Immunogen Bacterial expressed recombinant fragment, corresponding to amino acids 7-176 of Human Fyn.
Clone FYN-01
Isotype IgG2b
Specificity The reacts with p59fyn (Fyn), a non receptor protein tyrosine kinase (59 kDa),which belongs to the Src family of cytoplasmic tyrosine kinases.
Purification Protein A purified
Plasmids, Primers & others Plasmids, Primers & others FYN products on genomics-online (e.g. as negative or positive controls)
Antigen FYN Oncogene Related To SRC, FGR, YES (FYN)
Alternative Name Fyn (FYN Antibody Abstract)
Background Gene Symbol: FYN
Gene ID 2534
Pathways JAK-STAT Signaling, TCR Signaling, Fc-epsilon Receptor Signaling Pathway, EGFR Signaling Pathway, Neurotrophin Signaling Pathway, Feeding Behaviour, CXCR4-mediated Signaling Events, Signaling Events mediated by VEGFR1 and VEGFR2, Activated T Cell Proliferation, Thromboxane A2 Receptor Signaling
Application Notes Western Blot 2 μg/mL, Immunohistochemistry 1:10-1:500, Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence 1:10-1:500, Immunoprecipitation 1:50, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 5 μg/mLPredicted molecular weight: 59 kDa. Purity is > 95 % (by SDS-PAGE). Immunoprecipitation - Preparation of cell lysate: 30 min on ice (orbital incubator) in lysing buffer, lysing buffer with N-dodecyl beta-D-maltoside (20 mM Tris/Cl, 100 mM NaCl pH 8,2, 1 % laurylmaltosid (w/v), 50 mM NaF) Application note: The antibody FYN-01 apparently gives very specific signal (by 59 kDa), and nicely immunoprecipitates Fyn from cell lysates.
