- Alternative Name
- Ly6G (Ly6g Products)
- Synonyms
- Gr-1 antibody, Gr1 antibody, Ly-6G antibody, lymphocyte antigen 6 complex, locus G antibody, Ly6g antibody
- Background
- Expressed on majority of myeloid cells in the bone marrow and granulocytes in the periphery. Lymphocyte antigen 6 complex, locus G (Ly-6G), a 21-25 kDa GPI-anchored protein, is expressed on the majority of myeloid cells in the bone marrow and granulocytes in the periphery. While IA8 recognizes only Ly-6G, clone RB6-8C5 recognizes both Ly-6G and Ly-6C.
