Options
Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the second quarter of human Caspase 1 protein.

Type of Immunogen: Synthetic peptide
Specificity Reacts with a 45 kD protein, Caspase 1 and is expressed as a proenzyme in many tissues. Active Caspase 1 is a tetramer of two subunits p10 and p20 in 2:2 ratio. Overexpression of Caspase 1 can induce apoptosis in fibroblast, which can be inhibited by Overexpression of Crm A, a protein from pox virus. This antibody cross reacts with human, mouse and rat.
