Strongly expressed in placenta. Moderately expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, small intestine and lung. Weakly expressed in brain, colon, thymus and kidney. Expressed in nurse-like cells. Expressed in reactive astrocytes and vascular/perivascular cells in the brain of Alzheimer patient.
