GFP-Traps® - ideal tools for biochemical assays


GFP-Traps® are GFP-binding proteins coupled to agarose or magnetic beads. The GFP-Traps® are ideal for efficient, one-step isolation of fluorescent fusion proteins and their interacting partners.

GFP-Traps® are made from antibodies from the Camelidae family (camels, dromedaries, llamas and alpacas). They are, so far, the smallest intact stable antigen binding fragments known. In addition, Camelidae antibodies bind to their parners with high specificity and affinity in the nanomolar range. These desireable characteristics make GFP-Traps® ideal tools for biochemical assays that would complement cellular biology results.
