Product Details anti-VAMP2 Antibody

Target Details VAMP2 Application Details Handling Images
Specificity Detects an -18 kD protein, corresponding to the apparent molecular mass of VAMP on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, mouse, rat, bovine, guinea pig, hamster, monkey, pig, rabbit, sheep and Xenopus origins. This antibody is reactive with the VAMP1 (amino acids 1-118) and the VAMP2 (amino acids 33-96)-GST fusion proteins expressed in E. coli. No reactivity was seen with a -18 kD protein in mouse liver extracts.
Purification Ammonium sulfate precipitation
Immunogen Synaptic vesicle-containing fractions which were immunoprecipitated from human brain homogenates using anti-human synaptophysin monoclonal antibodies.
