- Background
- Ubiquitously-expressed transcript, also known as UXT, belongs to the UXT family. This protein functions as a cofactor that modulates androgen receptor-dependent transcription, and also plays a critical role in tumor necrosis factor-induced apoptosis. Expression of this gene may play a role in tumorigenesis. Recombinant human UXT protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli.
