    Background
: POP7 belongs to the histone-like Alba family. This protein is a component of ribonuclease P, a protein complex that generates mature tRNA molecules by cleaving their 5'-ends. Recombinant human POP7 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
