- Background
- MIEN1 belongs to the SelWTH family. This protein Increases cell migration by inducing filopodia formation at the leading edge of migrating cells and plays a role in regulation of apoptosis, possibly through control of CASP3. It also may be involved in a redox-related process. Recombinant human MIEN1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
