    Background
MICA also known as MHC class I polypeptide-related sequence A. This Protein's Function seems to have no role in antigen presentation. It acts as a stress-induced self-antigen that is recognized by gamma delta T-cells. It binding to KLRK1 leads to cell lysis. Recombinant human MICA, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.

    32.7kDa (283aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF
    Pathways
Activation of Innate immune Response, Transition Metal Ion Homeostasis
