|Specificity||This antibody detects NFATC2 pSer330.|
|Purification||Protein A Affinity Chromatography. Then, the antibody fraction is peptide affinity purified in a 2-step procedure with peptides. The antibody is eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.|
|Immunogen||This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding S330 of human NFATC2.|

|Alternative Name||NFATC2 (NFAT1 Antibody Abstract)|
|Background||NFATC2 is a member of the nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFAT) family. It is a DNA-binding protein with a REL-homology region (RHR) and an NFAT-homology region (NHR). This protein is present in the cytosol and only translocates to the nucleus upon T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation, where it becomes a member of the nuclear factors of activated T cells transcription complex. This complex plays a central role in inducing gene transcription during the immune response.Synonyms: NFAT pre-existing subunit, NFAT-1, NFATC2, NFATP, Nuclear factor of activated T-cells, T-cell transcription factor NFAT1, cytoplasmic 2|
