No cross-reaction with other glutamate receptor subunits. Species sequence homology: monkey, gerbil, rabbit, feline and fish.
Predicted Reactivity Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Hamster (100%) Panda, Dog, Horse, Opossum (93%).

Application Notes Approved: IHC (1:1000 - 1:2000), WB (1:1000 - 1:2000)

Usage: Suitable for use in Western blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000 using ECL on rat brain lysate. Labels a single band at approximately 120kD corresponding to NMDAR1 in rat brain lysate. Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:2000 with light microscopy. Tested with 4 % paraformaldehyde or paraformaldehyde/glutaraldehyde fixed rat tissue.
