Antigen
Alternative Name APC (APC Antibody Abstract)
Background

Alternate Names: Adenomatous polyposis coli protein, protein APC, DP2.5

Description: The adenomatous polyposis coli protein (APC) is a tumor suppressor that promotes rapid degradation of catenin-beta 1 (CTNNB1) and participates in Wnt signaling. The GSK3-beta protein kinase regulates its activity by phosphorylation. APC binds to PDZ domains of DLG1 and 3, to catenins, axin and MAPRE protein family including the EB members.

NCBI Accession NP_000029
