Genetic and pharmacological inhibition of BCL-W and BCL-XL (show BCL2L1 ELISA Kits) causes directed elimination of senescent cells.
Data show that BCL2-like 2 protein (BCL2L2) is a direct target of micrRNA miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-29b.
these results indicate that miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-335 acts as a novel tumor suppressor to regulate ccRCC cell proliferation and invasion through downregulation of BCL-W expression.
miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-15a acts as a tumor suppressor in NSCLC by directly targeting BCL2L2 and may serve as a potential diagnostic biomarker and therapeutic target for NSCLC.
The crystal structures of BCL-W and BCL-XL (show BCL2L1 ELISA Kits), along with cellular, studies reveal critical features of the BH3 domains of pro-survival proteins that distinguish them functionally from their pro-apoptotic counterparts.
over-expression of miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-195 sensitized resistant cells to DOX and enhanced cell apoptosis activity, all of which can be partly rescued by BCL2L2 siRNA and cDNA expression
A structural basis for a conserved binding mechanism between p53DBD and the anti-apoptotic Bcl-2 (show BCL2 ELISA Kits) family proteins.
Bcl-w-induced Sp1 (show PSG1 ELISA Kits) activation is a potential marker for aggressiveness of glioblastoma multiforme.
HDMF inhibits Bcl-w-induced neurosphere formation and the expression of glioma stem cell markers, such as Musashi (show MSI1 ELISA Kits), Sox-2 (show SOX2 ELISA Kits) and c-myc (show MYC ELISA Kits).
Crystal structure of human BCL-W in complex with different DARPins is virtually identical to the ligand-free conformation of its closest relative BCL-XL (show BCL2L1 ELISA Kits).
NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 ELISA Kits) p65 (show NFkBP65 ELISA Kits)/p52 signaling mediated the effects of GDNF (show GDNF ELISA Kits) on Bcl-2 (show BCL2 ELISA Kits) and Bcl-w expressions
Target-derived neurotrophins coordinate transcription of the antiapoptotic gene bclw with transport of bclw mRNA to the axon, and thereby prevent axonal degeneration in rat and mouse sensory neurons.
By using human cancer cells and mouse embryonic fibroblasts, the study shows that Bcl-w functions in the mitochondria to increase the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS (show ROS1 ELISA Kits)), which subsequently stimulates the invasion-promoting signaling pathway.
Bcl-2 (show BCL2 ELISA Kits), Bcl-x(L (show BCL2L1 ELISA Kits)) and Bcl-w have only minor roles in thymic lymphoma development elicited by defects in p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits), and this may indicate that Mcl-1 (show MCL1 ELISA Kits) and/or A1 may feature more prominently in this process.
Induction of autocrine Bcl-w signaling through pericytes promoting endothelial cell survival is associated with melanoma development.
Bcl-w(-/-) sensory neurons exhibit mitochondrial abnormalities, including alterations in axonal mitochondrial size, axonal mitochondrial membrane potential, and cellular ATP levels.
Bcl-x(L) and Bcl-w target protein phosphatase 1alpha to Bad
Bcl-2 (show BCL2 ELISA Kits), Bcl-w, and Bax (show BAX ELISA Kits) act in a redundant manner in regulating granulocyte survival and death
amino acid and base sequences of c98 gene (bcl-2 (show BCL2 ELISA Kits) homolog) expressed in newborn epidermal keratinocytes treated with IGF-1 (show IGF1 ELISA Kits)
Chromosome mapping of BCL2L2 gene in cows.
This gene encodes a member of the BCL-2 protein family. The proteins of this family form hetero- or homodimers and act as anti- and pro-apoptotic regulators. Expression of this gene in cells has been shown to contribute to reduced cell apoptosis under cytotoxic conditions. Studies of the related gene in mice indicated a role in the survival of NGF- and BDNF-dependent neurons. Mutation and knockout studies of the mouse gene demonstrated an essential role in adult spermatogenesis. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Read-through transcription also exists between this gene and the neighboring downstream PABPN1 (poly(A) binding protein, nuclear 1) gene.
