Human Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) interaction partners

  1. These findings suggest that the increased susceptibility of the G6PD-knockdown cells to viral infection was due to impaired NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 ELISA Kits) signaling and antiviral response mediated by HSCARG (show NMRAL1 ELISA Kits).

  2. G6PD deficiency affects the cellular inflammatory response and the decreased TNF-alpha (show TNF ELISA Kits)-mediated antiviral response in G6PD-kd A549 cells is a result of dysregulated NOX/MAPK (show MAPK1 ELISA Kits)/NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 ELISA Kits)/COX-2 (show COX2 ELISA Kits) signaling

  3. study demonstrated that G6PD molecular deficiency was not associated either with clinical ischemic stroke

  4. Inhibition of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase sensitizes cisplatin-resistant cells to death.

  5. Transgenic mice moderately overexpressing G6PD have higher levels of NADPH (show NQO1 ELISA Kits), lower levels of ROS (show ROS1 ELISA Kits)-derived damage, and better protection from ageing-associated functional decline, including extended median lifespan in females.

  6. Overexpression of G6PD is associated with high risks of recurrent metastasis in primary breast carcinoma.

  7. The G allele of rs6688832 in H6PD might exert potential genetic protective role against the development of PCOS, especially in overweight women. PCOS patients with AG genotype of rs6688832 might confer risk to the phenotype of hyperandrogenemia of PCOS.

  8. G6PD glycosylation is increased in human lung cancers. Glycosylation activates G6PD activity and increases glucose flux through the PPP, thereby providing precursors for nucleotide and lipid biosynthesis, and reducing equivalents for antioxidant defense.

  9. To understand the sporadic Alzheimer's disease, the writer of this paper thinks that, looking into a crystal ball might not yield much of a benefit but glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency could effortlessly give some clues.

  10. Mutation of G6PD is associated with G6PD deficiency in Chinese population.

Cow (Bovine) Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) interaction partners

  1. higher (p<0.05) levels of G6PD were observed in SCNT deme and in vitro-derived groups in comparison to somatic cell nuclear transfer conv

  2. Hyperthermia-induced Hsp90 (show HSP90 ELISA Kits).eNOS (show NOS3 ELISA Kits) preserves mitochondrial respiration in hyperglycemic endothelial cells by down-regulating Glut-1 (show SLC2A1 ELISA Kits) and up-regulating G6PD activity.

  3. Glc-6-PD and NADPH (show FDXR ELISA Kits) redox are crucially involved in the mechanism of hypoxic pulmonary artery contraction and, in turn, may play a key role in increasing pulmonary arterial pressure

  4. Levels of G6PD and HPRT (show HPRT1 ELISA Kits) RNA were higher in female morulae and blastocysts than in males, but only G6PD levels were significantly different between the sexes

  5. Overexpression of G6PD in vascular endothelial cells decreases reactive oxygen species accumulation in response to exogenous and endogenous oxidant stress and improves levels of bioavailable NO.

  6. In bovine retinal endothelial cells & pericytes, aldosterone reduced G6PD mRNA. A reduction in G6PD may be an early response to aldosterone.

  7. Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase is regulated through c-Src-mediated tyrosine phosphorylation in endothelial cells.

Glucose-6-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (G6PD) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

There are 2 forms of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. G form is X-linked and H form, encoded by this gene, is autosomally linked. This H form shows activity with other hexose-6-phosphates, especially galactose-6-phosphate, whereas the G form is specific for glucose-6-phosphate. Both forms are present in most tissues, but H form is not found in red cells.
