More ELISA Kits for FAK Interaction Partners

Human PTK2 Protein tyrosine Kinase 2 (PTK2) interaction partners

  1. Periostin (show POSTN ELISA Kits) expression in human periodontal ligament fibroblasts promotes the migration of human mesenchymal stem cells through the alphavbeta3 integrin/FAK/PI3K (show PIK3CA ELISA Kits)/Akt (show AKT1 ELISA Kits) pathway in vitro.

  2. High FAK expression is associated with cervical cancer.

  3. Studies propose that localization of FAK Y407, rather than FAK expression and overall FAK Y407 phosphorylation levels, is crucial for the control of cell motility of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) cell lines and suggest that subcellular localization, next to expression and activity levels, are important for understanding TNBC progression.

  4. FAK activation is necessary for the promotion of osteogenesis induced by extracorporeal shockwave.

  5. Identify integrin alphavbeta3 (show ITGAV ELISA Kits) as a receptor ofNC1 domain of collagen XIX. NC1(XIX) inhibits the FAK/PI3K (show PIK3CA ELISA Kits)/Akt (show AKT1 ELISA Kits)/mTOR (show FRAP1 ELISA Kits) pathway, by decreasing the phosphorylation and activity of the major proteins involved in this pathway.

  6. Low GAS7C increases cancer cell motility by promoting N-WASP (show WASL ELISA Kits)/FAK/F-actin cytoskeleton dynamics. It also enhances beta-catenin (show CTNNB1 ELISA Kits) stability via hnRNP U (show HNRNPU ELISA Kits)/beta-TrCP (show BTRC ELISA Kits) complex formation.

  7. analysis of a novel mechanism that regulates the expression of FAK via miR138 in Ewing's sarcoma cells

  8. FAK-regulated SRC_SH2 domain plays an important role in directing SRC (show SRC ELISA Kits) into FAs (show FAS ELISA Kits) and that this SRC (show SRC ELISA Kits)-mediated FA signaling drives cell migration.

  9. Data suggest that simultaneous targeting of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR (show FRAP1 ELISA Kits))- and adhesion kinase (FAK)-related pathways might offer a strategy for treating acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

  10. it was also observed that miR-7 (show LILRB1 ELISA Kits) regulated the proliferation and migration of colon cancer by regulating the protein expression of FAK, therefore, regulating the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2 (show MMP2 ELISA Kits) and MMP-9 (show MMP9 ELISA Kits)

Xenopus laevis PTK2 Protein tyrosine Kinase 2 (PTK2) interaction partners

  1. FAK is required for external force-induced spindle reorientation, suggesting that FAK's involvement in this process stems from a role in the transduction of external forces to the cell cortex.

  2. FAK is required for tension-dependent organization of collective cell movements in Xenopus mesendoderm.

  3. work identifies new roles for the FERM domain in the regulation of the dynamics of FAK on its signaling complexes in vivo and in vitro and identifies epiboly as the earliest developmental process in which FAK plays a crucial role during development

  4. These data suggest an important role for the FERM domain in the activation of FAK.

  5. FAK phosphorylation at Y861 is essential for lamellipodial protrusion induced by BDNF (show BDNF ELISA Kits), while phosphorylation at Y925 controls the rate of point contact turnover.

  6. Data imply that FAK plays an essential role in chamber outgrowth and looping morphogenesis.

  7. FAK is required for proper topographic positioning of retinal axons along the anterior-posterior axis of the optic tectum in Xenopus and zebrafish, a guidance decision mediated in part by A-type ephrins.

Mouse (Murine) PTK2 Protein tyrosine Kinase 2 (PTK2) interaction partners

  1. FAK promotes nascent integrin adhesions (NA) assembly and timely turnover to couple lamellipodial protrusion to adhesions for efficient advance of the leading edge. Phosphorylation on Y397 of FAK promotes dense NA formation but is dispensable for transient NA stabilization and leading edge advance.

  2. this manuscript shows that endothelial cell FAK activity induces VCAM-1 (show VCAM1 ELISA Kits) expression and contributes to atherosclerosis

  3. FAK activation is necessary for the promotion of osteogenesis induced by extracorporeal shockwave.

  4. Data show that the essential oil (EO) decreased focal adhesion and invadopodia formation which was accompanied by a drastic downregulation of focal adhesion kinase (FAK) and proto-oncogene protein Src.

  5. results suggest that LPS (show TLR4 ELISA Kits)-stimulated macrophage mediators attenuate both FAK and Src (show SRC ELISA Kits) activations in osteoblast, suggesting a novel role for TNFalpha (show TNF ELISA Kits) on osteoblast performance

  6. Report phosphorylation sites in focal adhesion kinase and putative new binding partners.

  7. data indicate that PTPalpha (show PTPRA ELISA Kits) and FAK, which are enriched in FAs (show FAS ELISA Kits), interact with IP3R1 (show ITPR1 ELISA Kits) at adjacent ER sites to spatially sequester IL-1 (show IL1A ELISA Kits)-induced Ca(2 (show CA2 ELISA Kits)+) signalling

  8. FAK-regulated signalling module PDK1 (show PDPK1 ELISA Kits)-Akt (show AKT1 ELISA Kits)-p70S6K (show RPS6KB1 ELISA Kits) that controls Src's intracellular trafficking operates at Src (show SRC ELISA Kits)-containing autophagosomes.

  5. Results suggest focal adhesion kinase is involved in thrombospondin-1 (show THBS1 ELISA Kits)-induced vascular smooth muscle cell migration.

FAK (PTK2) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a cytoplasmic protein tyrosine kinase which is found concentrated in the focal adhesions that form between cells growing in the presence of extracellular matrix constituents. The encoded protein is a member of the FAK subfamily of protein tyrosine kinases but lacks significant sequence similarity to kinases from other subfamilies. Activation of this gene may be an important early step in cell growth and intracellular signal transduction pathways triggered in response to certain neural peptides or to cell interactions with the extracellular matrix. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene, but the full-length natures of only three of them have been determined.
