  1. UDP-glucose (show UGCG ELISA Kits) activates P2Y14 receptor and JAK2 (show JAK2 ELISA Kits), increases STAT3 (show STAT3 ELISA Kits) Tyr705 phosphorylation, and enhances transcription of HAS2 (show HAS2 ELISA Kits).

  2. PPTN as a highly selective high-affinity antagonist of the P2Y14-R.

  3. These results support the notion that UDP-glucose (show UGCG ELISA Kits) is a stable and potent proinflammatory mediator that promotes P2Y (show P2RY1 ELISA Kits)(14)-R-mediated neutrophil motility via Rho/Rho kinase (show ROCK1 ELISA Kits) activation.

  4. The IUPHAR Subcommittee for P2Y (show P2RY1 ELISA Kits) receptor nomenclature and classification reviews the current knowledge of the UDP-glucose receptor and presents reasons for including it in the P2Y (show P2RY1 ELISA Kits) receptor family as the P2Y(14) receptor.

  5. a G-protein-coupled receptor (show ADRA1A ELISA Kits) identifying a quiescent, primitive population of hematopoietic cells restricted to bone marrow; it mediates primitive cell responses to specific hematopoietic microenvironments

  6. Discrete expression of GPR105 demonstrated within the immature subset of monocyte-derived dendritic cells (DC) suggests a possible role for this receptor in DC activation.

  7. We have demonstrated the presence of P2Y(14) receptor protein in platelets, but no contribution of this receptor to several measures of platelet function has been observed

  8. UDP-glucose (show UGCG ELISA Kits) stimulated IL-8 production via P2RY14 in human endometrial epithelial cells but not stromal cells

  1. Insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) secretion tests revealed a reduced insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) release from P2Y14-deficient islets, highlighting P2Y14 as a new modulator of proper insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) secretion

  2. the physiological importance of P2Y14 receptors in the vasculature

  3. P2Y14 on stem/progenitor cells of the hematopoietic system inhibits cell senescence by monitoring and responding to the extracellular manifestations of tissue stress

  4. Results suggest that P2Y14 may act as the receptor for UDP-sugars in osteoclast precusors and may regulate RANKL (show TNFSF11 ELISA Kits)-induced osteoclastogenesis.

  5. P2Y14 is a receptor governing in utero tolerance to genotoxic stress.

  6. These studies indicate that GPR105 ablation mitigates high fat diet-induced insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) resistance by inhibiting macrophage recruitment and tissue inflammation

  7. Data detected mRNA and protein for ADP receptors P2Y12 and P2Y13 in mouse dorsal root ganglia (DRG). P2Y14, a homologous Gi-coupled nucleotide receptor, is also expressed in DRG.

  8. These results demonstrate a novel function of the P2Y14 receptor in the rodent stomach and an ability of UDP-glucose (show UGCG ELISA Kits) to delay gastric emptying without involving the P2Y14 receptor.

  9. UDP-glucose (show UGCG ELISA Kits) and its receptor P2RY14 are key front line players able to trigger innate mucosal immune responses in the FRT bypassing the recognition of pathogen-associated molecular patterns

P2RY14 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The product of this gene belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors, which contains several receptor subtypes with different pharmacological selectivity for various adenosine and uridine nucleotides. This receptor is a P2Y purinergic receptor for UDP-glucose and other UDP-sugars coupled to G-proteins. It has been implicated in extending the known immune system functions of P2Y receptors by participating in the regulation of the stem cell compartment, and it may also play a role in neuroimmune function. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
