Application Notes: Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embedded sections (10 μg/mL, Positive control: rat brain). Western blotting (1.0-2.0 μg/mL, This antibody detects a band of approximately 26.4 kDa in human HL60 cell lysates).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: Adiponectin (also known as Acrp30), is a major adipokine secreted into the bloodstream from adipose tissue to modulate metabolism, including glucose regulation and fatty acid catabolism. Unlike most other adipokines, Adiponectin is secreted exclusively by differentiating adipocytes at reduced levels during obesity.
