Immunogen The immunogen for anti-GTF2I antibody: synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal of human GTF2I
Predicted Reactivity Bovine : 100%, Dog : 100%, Guinea pig : 100%, Horse : 100%, Human : 100%, Mouse : 100%, Pig : 100%, Rat : 100%, Chicken : 92%
Characteristics This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against GTF2I. It was validated on Western Blot and immunohistochemistry. We manufacture rabbit polyclonal antibodies on a large scale of high throughput manner. Our antibodies are peptide based and protein family oriented.
Purification Affinity Purified
Alternative Name GTF2I
Background GTF2I encodes a multifunctional phosphoprotein with roles in transcription and signal transduction. It is deleted in Williams-Beuren syndrome, a multisystem developmental disorder caused by the deletion of contiguous genes at chromosome 7q11.23. The exon(s) encoding 5' UTR has not been fully defined, but this gene is known to contain at least 34 exons, and its alternative splicing generates 4 transcript variants.
