Immunogen Peptide with sequence GNSAGPKSMEVSC, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_006087.2, NP_001128714.1.
Specificity The variants (NP_006087.2, NP_001128714.1) encode the same protein
Cross-Reactivity Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus), Dog (Canine)
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name NDRG1
Background Synonyms: NDRG1, N-myc downstream regulated gene 1, CAP43,, CMT4D, DRG1, GC4, HMSNL, NDR1, NMSL, PROXY1, RIT42, RTP, TARG1, TDD5, N-myc downstream regulated gene 1 protein, differentiation-related gene 1 protein, nickel-specific induction protein Cap43, protein regulated by oxygen-1, reducing agents and tunicamycin-responsive protein, tunicamycin-responsive protein
Molecular Weight 42.8kDa
Gene ID 10397, 17990
NCBI Accession NP_001128714, NP_006087
Research Area Cancer, Angiogenesis, Transcription Factors
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.
Western blot: Approx 48 kDa band observed in lysates of Human Brain, Kidney and Testis (calculated MW of 42.8 kDa according to NP_006087.2). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 µg/mL. A minor band of unknown identity was also consistently observed at 20 kDa. This band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide.
IHC: In paraffin embedded Human hepatocelluar carcinoma shows strong labeling of membranes and weaker staining of cyrtoplasm. These observations are consistent with those obtained by different antibodies. Recommended concentration: 0.5-2 µg/mL.
