Immunogen C-DNIREMLMARRAQ
Specificity Human, Mouse, Rat 122 aa
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name Prefoldin
Background All names and symbols: PFDN1, PDF, PFD1, prefoldin 1, prefoldin subunit 1. Official Symbol: PFDN1. RefSeq number(s): NP_002613. Gene ontology terms: transcription factor activity, cell cycle
Gene ID 5201, 67199
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32,000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments (at 0.2ug/ml) gave a strong band at approx 20-25kDa band in Human Skeletal Muscle lysates. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the predicted size of approx. 14kDa according to NP_002613. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
