Immunogen A synthetic peptide from the cytoplasmic domain of human P2X3 (P2RX3, P2X purinoceptor 3, ATP receptor) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein was used as the antigen. The peptide shares 85% identity with rat and mouse sequence.
