Immunogen This antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide selected from the center region of human BMX.
Specificity This antibody reacts to BMX.
Purification Protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS
Alternative Name BMX
Background Tyrosine kinases are either receptor molecules, which contain transmembrane and extracellular domains, or nonreceptor proteins, which are located intracellularly. One family of nonreceptor TKs includes the genes TEC, TXK, ITK, and BTK. All of these proteins are homologs of the Drosophila Src28 TK and contain an SH3 and SH2 domain upstream of the TK domain.[supplied by OMIM]
Alternate names: Bone marrow tyrosine kinase gene in chromosome X protein, Cytoplasmic tyrosine-protein kinase BMX, ETK, Epithelial and endothelial tyrosine kinase, NTK38
Gene ID 660, 9606
UniProt P51813
Research Area Signaling, Tyrosine Kinases
Application Notes ELISA: 1/1,000. Western blotting: 1/100 - 1/500. Immunohistochemistry: 1/50 - 1/100. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
