Immunogen Peptide from C-Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_055886.1, NP_001129080.1. Genename: ARHGAP26
Sequence C-KTGLIPENYVEFL
Specificity This antibody detects ARHGAP26/OPHN1L at C-term. It is expected to recognise both reported isoforms. Species Reactivity: Tested: Human. Expected from sequence similarity: Mouse, Rat, Canine (Dog) and Bovine (Cow).
Purification Ammonium Sulphate Precipitation followed by antigen Affinity Chromatography using the immunizing peptide
Alternative Name ARHGAP26 / OPHN1L
Background Alternate names: GRAF, GTPase regulator associated with focal adhesion kinase, KIAA0621, Oligophrenin-1-like protein, Rho GTPase-activating protein 26, Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 26
Gene ID 23092
NCBI Accession NP_055886.1
UniProt Q9UNA1
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1/64000. Western blot: 0.3-1 µg/ml. Approx 90kDa band observed in Human Heart lysates(calculated MW of 92.2kDa according to NP_055886.1). An additional strong band ofunknown identity was also consistently observed at 16kDa. This band was successfullyblocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. We would appreciate any feedbackfrom people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates?Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
