Immunogen Peptide from C-Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_055886.1, NP_001129080.1. Genename: ARHGAP26
Sequence C-KTGLIPENYV EFL
Specificity This antibody detects ARHGAP26/OPHN1L at C-term. It is expected to recognise both reported isoforms.
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Species reactivity (expected):Mouse, Rat, Canine (Dog) and Bovine (Cow).
Species reactivity (tested):Human.
Purification Ammonium Sulphate Precipitation followed by antigen Affinity Chromatography using the immunizing peptide
Alternative Name ARHGAP26 / OPHN1L (ARHGAP26 Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: GRAF, GTPase regulator associated with focal adhesion kinase, KIAA0621, Oligophrenin-1-like protein, Rho GTPase-activating protein 26, Rho-type GTPase-activating protein 26
Gene ID 23092
NCBI Accession NP_055886
UniProt Q9UNA1
Pathways
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1/64000. Western blot: 0.3-1 μg/mL. Approx 90 kDa band observed in Human Heart lysates(calculated MW of 92.0 kDa according to NP_055886.1). An additional strong band ofunknown identity was also consistently observed at 10 kDa. This band was successfullyblocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. We would appreciate any feedbackfrom people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates?Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
