Immunogen This CD49e antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 796-824 AA from the C-terminal region of human CD49e.
Clone RB18004
Isotype Ig
Specificity This CD49e antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 803~832 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CD49e.
Purification This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
Alternative Name CD49e
Background CD49e belongs to the integrin alpha chain family. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This protein is the integrin alpha 5 chain. Alpha chain 5 undergoes post-translational cleavage in the extracellular domain to yield disulfide-linked light and heavy chains that join with beta 1 to form a fibronectin receptor. In addition to adhesion, integrins are known to participate in cell-surface mediated signalling.
Synonyms: Integrin alpha-5, Fibronectin receptor subunit alpha, Integrin alpha-F, VLA-5, CD49 antigen-like family member E, CD_antigen=CD49e, Integrin alpha-5 heavy chain, Integrin alpha-5 light chain, ITGA5

anti-Integrin, alpha 5 (Fibronectin Receptor, alpha Polypeptide) (ITGA5) (C-Term), (AA 796-824) antibody (2) Flow cytometric analysis of HepG2 cells using CD49e Antibody (C-term)(bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
