Sequence KVTGIFLLSALALLSLSGNTGADSLGREAKCYNELNGCTK IYDPVCGTDG
Predicted Reactivity Human : 100%, Rabbit : 92%
Characteristics This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against SPINK1. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control. We strive to provide antibodies covering each member of a whole protein family of your interest.
Purification Affinity Purified
Alternative Name SPINK1
Background SPINK1 is a trypsin inhibitor, which is secreted from pancreatic acinar cells into pancreatic juice. It is thought to function in the prevention of trypsin-catalyzed premature activation of zymogens within the pancreas and the pancreatic duct. Mutations in this gene are associated with hereditary pancreatitis and tropical calcific pancreatitis.
