Immunogen This BAHD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 750-777 AA from the C-terminal region of human BAHD1.
Clone RB23425
Isotype Ig
Specificity This BAHD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 751~780 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human BAHD1.
Predicted Reactivity Mouse (Murine)
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name BAHD1
Background BAHD1 is a heterochromatin protein that acts as a transcription repressor and has the ability to promote the formation of large heterochromatic domains. It may act by recruiting heterochromatin proteins such as CBX5 (HP1 alpha), HDAC5 and MBD1. It represses IGF2 expression by binding to its CpG-rich P3 promoter and recruiting heterochromatin proteins.
