Mitotic exit in neurons is accompanied by an essential switch in ATP-dependent chromatin regulatory complexes from the neural progenitor Brg/Brm (show SMARCA2 ELISA Kits)-associated factor (npBAF) to neuron-specific nBAF
Structural determinants of APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits) non-catalytic domain for molecular assembly and catalytic regulation have been reported.
A lysine-free derivative of human APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits) was constructed and shown to be indistinguishable from the wild-type enzyme in DNA cytosine deamination, HIV-1 restriction, and nuclear localization activities.
exposures to relevant environmental factors might induce APOBEC3A or APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits) expression above genotoxic levels and initiate tumorigenesis in a tissue-specific manner in the right cellular environment where ssDNA is available
APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits) expression increased the incorporation of genomic uracil, invoked DNA damage response (DDR (show DDR1 ELISA Kits)) biomarkers and caused cell cycle arrest.
The findings demonstrate that covalently-closed circular DNA levels are significantly lower in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues, and that the lower levels are likely to stem in part from up-regulation of APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits).
Data suggest that heat shock proteins, in particular Hsp90, stimulate APOBEC3-mediated DNA deamination activity toward hepatitis B viral DNA, suggesting a potential physiological role in mutagenesis/carcinogenesis and viral innate immunity; Hsp90 stimulates deamination activity of APOBEC3G, APOBEC3B, and APOBEC3C during co-expression in human liver HepG2 cells.
APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits) mRNA levels are significantly higher in breast cancer metastases as compared to the corresponding estrogen receptor (show ESR1 ELISA Kits)-positive primary tumors.
tumour-infiltrating immune cells may be an important feature of breast cancers arising in women with APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits) germline deletion, and that this may be of particular interest in Asian women where the germline deletion is more common.
the APOBEC3B (show APOBEC3B ELISA Kits) deletion polymorphism has neither a prognostic nor a predictive value for breast cancer patients.
Single-strand DNA-specific cytidine deaminase APOBEC3B (A3B (show SGCB ELISA Kits)) damages tRNA genes at 1000-fold higher efficiency than other non-tRNA genomic regions in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. A3B (show SGCB ELISA Kits)-induced lesions in tRNA genes were predominantly located on non-transcribed strand, while no transcriptional strand bias was observed in protein coding genes. It suggests transcription-dependent mechanism for A3B (show SGCB ELISA Kits)-induced tRNA gene hypermutation
uncover a novel function of Actl6a in mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs), where it acts as a gatekeeper to prevent mESCs from entering into the primitive endoderm lineage through a Yin/Yang regulating pattern
Data indicate an essential role for the BAF53a subunit of BAF (show BANF1 ELISA Kits) complexes in the development of hematopoiesis system.
data show that BAF53 shuttles between the cytoplasm and nucleus in an energy-dependent manner, and suggest that BAF53 can play a role distinct from its previously recognized function in transcriptional regulation [BAf53]
These results indicate that BAF53 contributes to the polymeric properties and/or the internal meshwork interactions of the chromatin fiber probably via a novel mechanism.
BAF53 is associated with mitotic chromosomes during mitosis.
The effects of antibody silencing of ARP4 on growth and flowering in transgenic and wild type A. thaliana, Brassica, and tobacco.
This gene is a member of the cytidine deaminase gene family. It is one of seven related genes or pseudogenes found in a cluster, thought to result from gene duplication, on chromosome 22. Members of the cluster encode proteins that are structurally and functionally related to the C to U RNA-editing cytidine deaminase APOBEC1. It is thought that the proteins may be RNA editing enzymes and have roles in growth or cell cycle control. A hybrid gene results from the deletion of approximately 29.5 kb of sequence between this gene, APOBEC3B, and the adjacent gene APOBEC3A. The breakpoints of the deletion are within the two genes, so the deletion allele is predicted to have the promoter and coding region of APOBEC3A, but the 3' UTR of APOBEC3B. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
