  5. TRIM16 (show TRIM16 ELISA Kits) directly regulated the degradation of Gli1 protein via the ubiquitinproteasome pathway.

  6. Results show that PCAF (show KAT2B ELISA Kits) can induce cell apoptosis by modulating a GLI1/Bcl-2 (show BCL2 ELISA Kits)/BAX (show BAX ELISA Kits) axis that in turn suppresses HCC (show FAM126A ELISA Kits) progression.

  7. The study demonstrates increased expression of Gli1 and p53 (show TP53 ELISA Kits) in PDAC, and proves that Gli1 could be apotential biomarker for prognostic judgment.

  8. Evidences suggest an indispensable role of GLI1 in the migration and metastasis of breast cancer cells through CXCL12 (show CXCL12 ELISA Kits)/CXCR4 (show CXCR4 ELISA Kits) signaling enhancement.

  9. NFATc1binds the GLI1 promoter and represses its transcription.

  10. low expression of PCAF (show KAT2B ELISA Kits) in hepatocellular carcinoma tissues facilitates tumor cells migration and invasion which is achieved via Gli1-driven epithelial-mesenchymal transition phenotypes.

  1. Dzip1-dependent stabilization of Spop (show SPOP ELISA Kits)/HIB is evolutionarily conserved and essential for proper regulation of Gli/Ci proteins in the Hh pathway.

  2. Zyxin (show ZYX ELISA Kits) inhibits Shh (show SHH ELISA Kits) signaling during the CNS patterning in Xenopus laevis through interaction with Gli1

Zebrafish Zinc Finger Protein GLI1 (GLI1) interaction partners

  1. a new mechanism of Gli transcription factor activation and implicate ARHGAP36 (show ARHGAP36 ELISA Kits) dysregulation in the onset and/or progression of GLI-dependent cancers.

  2. We show that Kif7 (show KIF7 ELISA Kits) interacts with both Gli1 and Gli2a and suggest that it functions to sequester Gli proteins in the cytoplasm, in a manner analogous to the regulation of Ci by Cos2 (show KIF7 ELISA Kits) in Drosophila.

  3. Gli1 has a Hh-independent role in many motoneurons and V3 domain cells in embryos that lack Hh signalling, but removal of Gli1 activity does not affect more dorsal neurons.

  4. These results reveal divergent requirements for Gli1 and Gli2 (show GLI2 ELISA Kits) in mouse and zebrafish and indicate that zebrafish Gli1 is an activator of Hh-regulated genes, while zebrafish Gli2 (show GLI2 ELISA Kits) has minor roles as a repressor or activator of Hh targets.

  5. Gli1 regulates the maintenance of neural progenitors at the midbrain-hindbrain boundary in concert with E(Spl (show SGPL1 ELISA Kits)) factor activity.

Mouse (Murine) Zinc Finger Protein GLI1 (GLI1) interaction partners

  10. Gli1+ cells within the suture mesenchyme are an indispensable mesenchymal stem cell population supporting craniofacial bone turnover and injury healing.

GLI1 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a member of the Kruppel family of zinc finger proteins. The encoded transcription factor is activated by the sonic hedgehog signal transduction cascade and regulates stem cell proliferation. The activity and nuclear localization of this protein is negatively regulated by p53 in an inhibitory loop. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
