  1. the overexpression of RANKL and high membranous RANKL localization in osteoblasts are related to defective CF transmembrane conductance regulator, and may worsen bone resorption, leading to bone loss in patients with cystic fibrosis (show S100A8 ELISA Kits).

  2. The expression for RANKL and OPG (show TNFRSF11B ELISA Kits) and the RANKL/OPG ratio were not significantly different between symptomatic and asymptomatic periapical lesions.

  4. Preterm neonates exposed to Antenatal Glucocorticosteroid have higher serum levels of OPG (show TNFRSF11B ELISA Kits), while premature neonates not exposed to Antenatal Glucocorticosteroid have serum OPG (show TNFRSF11B ELISA Kits) and RANKL levels similar to those measured in healthy term neonates.

  5. Twenty-one single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of TNFSF11, TNFRSF11A, and TNFRSF11B were genotyped. This study suggests that TNFRSF11B but not TNFSF11 and TNFRSF11A genetic polymorphisms are associated with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Southern Han Chinese women.

  6. the OPG/RANKL/RANK system might be directly influenced by genetic variants of NOTCH1 (show NOTCH1 ELISA Kits) in aortic valve calcification.

  7. results suggest that serum OPG (show TNFRSF11B ELISA Kits) and RANKL levels are inversely associated with bone loss in men with advanced stage COPD (show ARCN1 ELISA Kits).

  1. miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-338-3p may play a significant role in glucocorticoid-induced osteoclast differentiation and function by targeting RANKL in osteoclasts.

  2. the protein and RNA levels of RANKLinduced cFos and nuclear factor of activated T-cell (show NFATC3 ELISA Kits) cytoplasmic 1 were suppressed by centipedegrass extract (CGE). These results indicated that CGE may serve as a useful drug in the prevention of bone loss.

  3. Lipopolysaccharides significantly up-regulated RANKL expression and activated the ERK1/2 (show MAPK1/3 ELISA Kits) pathway to induce IL-6 (show IL6 ELISA Kits) mRNA expression and protein synthesis in MLO-Y4 cells.

  4. Mechanistically, RL negatively regulates Stat5 (show STAT5A ELISA Kits) phosphorylation and Elf5 (show ELF5 ELISA Kits) expression at the onset of lactogenesis. Continuous RL exposure leads to the expansion of basal and bipotent cells in WT and MMTV-RANK acini. Overall, we demonstrate that enhanced Rank signaling impairs secretory differentiation during pregnancy by inhibition of the prolactin (show PRL ELISA Kits)/p-Stat5 (show STAT5A ELISA Kits) pathway.

  7. These results indicate that activation of Panx1 (show PANX1 ELISA Kits) and P2X7 (show P2RX7 ELISA Kits) R are required for apoptotic osteocytes in fatigued bone to trigger RANKL production in neighboring bystander osteocytes and implicate ATP as an essential signal mediating this process.

  8. These results suggest that GP2 (show GP2 ELISA Kits)(+)Tnfaip2 (show TNFAIP2 ELISA Kits)(+) cells in NALT are equivalent to intestinal M cells, and that RANKL-RANK signaling induces their differentiation.

  9. These results highlight the role of distal enhancers in the regulation of RANKL expression by PTH (show PTH ELISA Kits) and perhaps 1,25(OH)2D3 and suggest that the RL-D2 and RL-D5 enhancers contribute in either an additive or synergistic manner to regulate bone remodeling.

  10. NMP4 (show ZNF384 ELISA Kits) deficiency suppressed the arthritis-induced increase in bone resorption, expression of RANKL and MMP-3 (show MMP3 ELISA Kits) mRNA.

TNFSF11 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) cytokine family which is a ligand for osteoprotegerin and functions as a key factor for osteoclast differentiation and activation. This protein was shown to be a dentritic cell survival factor and is involved in the regulation of T cell-dependent immune response. T cell activation was reported to induce expression of this gene and lead to an increase of osteoclastogenesis and bone loss. This protein was shown to activate antiapoptotic kinase AKT/PKB through a signaling complex involving SRC kinase and tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor (TRAF) 6, which indicated this protein may have a role in the regulation of cell apoptosis. Targeted disruption of the related gene in mice led to severe osteopetrosis and a lack of osteoclasts. The deficient mice exhibited defects in early differentiation of T and B lymphocytes, and failed to form lobulo-alveolar mammary structures during pregnancy. Two alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found.
