Pig (Porcine) Envoplakin (EVPL) interaction partners

  1. the transcription initiation site for sialoadhesin (Siglec-1 (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies)), which is a porcine alveolar macrophage-specific gene, was determined by 5' rapid amplification of cDNA end.

  2. Fusion protein of sialoadhesin (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies) and domains 5-9 of CD163 (show CD163 Antibodies) receptors blocked the respiratory syndrome virus infection.

  3. European genotype porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus inhibits porcine alveolar macrophages phagocytosis in vitro, through the interaction with its internalization receptor sialoadhesin (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies).

  4. After infection, PRRSV viremia in SIGLEC1 (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies)(-/-) pigs followed the same course as in SIGLEC1 (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies)(-/+) and SIGLEC1 (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies)(+/+) littermates. The absence of SIGLEC1 (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies) had no effect on other aspects of PRRSV infection, including disease course and histopathology.

  5. Endodomain-deletion mutants of sialoadhesin (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies) promoted porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus infection less efficiently.

  6. ). These results provided fundamental evidence for CD163 (show CD163 Antibodies) and SN as two functional candidate genes affecting immunity in pigs.

  7. effect of antibody binding to pSn on macrophage viability, phagocytosis of microspheres, uptake and processing of soluble antigens, reactive oxygen/nitrogen species production, MHC I and MHC II cell surface expression and cytokine production

  8. Porcine sialoadhesin (CD169/Siglec-1 (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies)) is an endocytic receptor that allows targeted delivery of toxins and antigens to macrophages.

  9. Sialoadhesin (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies) is confirmed as a PRRSV (porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus)internalization receptor and is shown to interact with CD163 (show CD163 Antibodies) in PRRSV entry.

  10. Clear changes in the quantity of sialoadhesin (show SIGLEC1 Antibodies)(+) and CD163 (show CD163 Antibodies)(+) macrophages in the placentas and organs of embryos/fetuses during gestation.

Human Envoplakin (EVPL) interaction partners

  1. autoantibodies are detected in patients with paraneoplastic pemphigus

  2. envoplakin and periplakin (show PPL Antibodies) bind to the plasma membrane upon elevation of intracellular [Ca(2 (show CA2 Antibodies)+)] in differentiating keratinocytes, where they serve as a scaffold for cornified cell envelope assembly

  3. EVPL might not be the target gene responsible for oesophageal cancer, despite its strong candidacy in terms of character and localization

Mouse (Murine) Envoplakin (EVPL) interaction partners

  1. although envoplakin is part of the scaffolding on which the epidermal cornified envelope is assembled, it is not essential for envelope formation or epidermal barrier function.

Envoplakin (EVPL) Antigen Profile

Protein Summary

Macrophage-restricted adhesion molecule that mediates sialic-acid dependent binding to lymphocytes, including granulocytes, monocytes, natural killer cells, B-cells and CD8 T- cells. Preferentially binds to alpha-2,3-linked sialic acid. Binds to SPN/CD43 on T-cells. May play a role in hemopoiesis (By similarity). Acts as an endocytic receptor mediating clathrin dependent endocytosis. In case of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), mediates virion attachment and internalization into alveolar macrophages through a clathrin- coated dependent process.
