Human PARK2 Co-Regulated (PACRG) interaction partners

  1. Mapping of the PARK2 (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) and PACRG gene regulatory region with 96 SNPs, with a resolution of 1 SNP per 1 (show PER1 ELISA Kits) Kb for PARK2 (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) gene regulatory region in a North Indian population, showed an involvement of 11 SNPs in determining the susceptibility towards leprosy.

  2. PARK2 and PACRG are commonly downregulated in clear-cell renal cell carcinoma and are associated with aggressive disease and poor clinical outcome.

  3. conducted high-density association mapping of PARK2 (show PARK2 ELISA Kits)/PACRG SNPs with leprosy and identified 69 SNPs significantly associated with leprosy in 198 single-case Vietnamese leprosy families

  4. Elevated levels of PACRG result in increased neuronal autophagy.

  5. single nucleotide polymorphisms of PARK2 (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) with leprosy susceptibility in Chinese population

  6. the association of polymorphisms rs9356058 and rs1040079 in gene PARK2 (show PARK2 ELISA Kits)/PACRG with leprosy

  7. Mutation of PACRG was not identified as a cause of male infertility, but variation in the promoter was demonstrated to be a risk factor associated with azoospermia.

  8. PINK1, Omi/HtrA2 (show HTRA2 ELISA Kits) and parkin (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) participate at different levels in mitochondrial quality control, converging through some overlapping and some distinct steps to maintain a common phenotype of healthy mitochondrial networks [REVIEW]

  9. PACRG is linked to parkin (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) via a bi-directional promoter

  10. Glup/PACRG forms a large molecular chaperone (show HSP90AA1 ELISA Kits) complex, suppresses cell death induced by accumulation of unfolded Pael receptor, facilitates the formation of Pael-R inclusions, and is a component of Lewy bodies in Parkinson's disease

Mouse (Murine) PARK2 Co-Regulated (PACRG) interaction partners

  1. Studies demonstrate that MEIG1/PACRG forms a complex in the manchette and that this complex is necessary to transport cargos, such as SPAG16L, to build the sperm flagella.

  2. Pacrg is required for motile cilia function and may be involved in the pathogenesis of hydrocephalus.

  3. Findings reveal a critical role for the MEIG1/PARCG partnership in manchette structure and function and the control of spermiogenesis.

  4. PACRG is linked to parkin (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) via a bi-directional promoter [PACRG]

  5. The quaking mutation is a deletion of approximately 1.17 Mb of mouse chromosome 17, resulting in the deletion of the entire promoter and first five coding exons of PRKN. The recently described Parkin (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) Co-Regulated Gene (PACRG) is completely deleted.

  6. Results demonstrate that the deletion of Pacrg (PARKIN-coregulated gene) is the cause of male sterility in the Quaking(viable) (qk(v)) mutant mouse.

  7. These results suggest that the transcriptional co-regulation of Pacrg and parkin (show PARK2 ELISA Kits) leads to a similar regional protein distribution in mouse brain, which may have functional significance for the two proteins.

  8. The results of this study indicated that expression of Pacrg in the cells associated with the cerebral ventricle, in addition to the aqueduct of Sylvius and choroid plexus. And strong expression was observed since newborn period to adulthood.

  9. Pacrg is most abundantly expressed in tissues rich in highly ciliated cells, such as olfactory sensory neurons, and is predicted to be important to cilia.

PARK2 Co-Regulated (PACRG) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a protein that is conserved across metazoans. In vertebrates, this gene is linked in a head-to-head arrangement with the adjacent parkin gene, which is associated with autosomal recessive juvenile Parkinson's disease. These genes are co-regulated in various tissues and they share a bi-directional promoter. Both genes are associated with susceptibility to leprosy. The parkin co-regulated gene protein forms a large molecular complex with chaperones, including heat shock proteins 70 and 90, and chaperonin components. This protein is also a component of Lewy bodies in Parkinson's disease patients, and it suppresses unfolded Pael receptor-induced neuronal cell death. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
