Human Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) interaction partners

  1. we examined the role and mechanisms of SIRT6 in suppressing postoperative epidural scar formation. We showed that SIRT6 promoted the expression of miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-21 and then suppressed TGF-beta2 (show TGFB2 ELISA Kits) expression in a targeted manner.

  2. SIRT6 induced autophagy via attenuation of AKT signaling and treatment with autophagy inhibitor 3-MA or knockdown of autophagy-related protein Atg5 rescued H2O2-induced neuronal injury.

  3. Data indicate that compared to non-neoplastic endometria (NNE (show ENO1 ELISA Kits)), endometrial cancer (EC) showed SIRT7 (show SIRT7 ELISA Kits) mRNA overexpression, whereas SIRT1 (show SIRT1 ELISA Kits), SIRT2 (show SIRT2 ELISA Kits), SIRT4 (show SIRT4 ELISA Kits) and SIRT5 (show SIRT5 ELISA Kits) were underexpressed, and no significant differences were observed for SIRT3 (show SIRT3 ELISA Kits) and SIRT6.

  4. SIRT6 as an important pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma tumor suppressor

  5. Tissue micro-array studies confirmed the higher levels of SIRT6 in both prostate tumor tissues and prostate cancer cells than in their normal counterparts. Knockdown of SIRT6 in human prostate cancer cells led to sub-G1 phase arrest of cell cycle, increased apoptosis, elevated DNA damage level and decrease in BCL2 (show BCL2 ELISA Kits) gene expression.

  6. Results find no significant association between common polymorphisms and haplotypes in the SIRT6 gene and longevity.

  7. Data provided evidence that SIRT6 tagSNPs rs352493 and rs3760908 play significant roles in the severity of coronary artery disease (CAD (show CAD ELISA Kits)) in Chinese Han subjects, which might be useful predictors of the severity of CAD (show CAD ELISA Kits).

  8. Results reveal a pathway controlled by ATM, SIRT6, and SNF2H to block HUWE1, which stabilizes H2AX and induces its incorporation into chromatin only when cells are damaged.

  9. our data suggest that SIRT6 suppresses glioma cell growth via induction of apoptosis, inhibition of oxidative stress and inhibition of the activation of the JAK2 (show JAK2 ELISA Kits)/STAT3 (show STAT3 ELISA Kits) signaling pathway.

  10. SIRT6 in a protein complex with both nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2 (show NFE2L2 ELISA Kits)) and RNA polymerase II.

Cow (Bovine) Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) interaction partners

  1. results suggest that some polymorphisms in SIRT6 are associated with production traits and may be used as candidates for marker-assisted selection (MAS (show MAS1 ELISA Kits)) and management in beef cattle breeding programs.

Mouse (Murine) Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) interaction partners

  1. The SIRT6 regulates HSC (show FUT1 ELISA Kits) homeostasis through the transcriptional repression of Wnt (show WNT2 ELISA Kits) target genes. Sirt6 deletion promoted HSC (show FUT1 ELISA Kits) proliferation through aberrant activation of Wnt (show WNT2 ELISA Kits) signaling.

  2. Sirt6 plays a crucial role in dendritic cell differentiation and function and reduced Sirt6 activity may contribute to immunosenescence.

  3. up-regulates AMP (show TMPRSS5 ELISA Kits)/ATP and then activates the AMPK (show PRKAA1 ELISA Kits)-FoxO3alpha axis and further initiates the downstream antioxidant-encoding gene expression, thereby decreasing cellular levels of oxidative stress and mediating cardioprotection in the ischemic heart

  4. SIRT6 is important for glucose-stimulated insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) secretion from pancreatic beta cells and activation of SIRT6 may be useful to improve insulin (show INS ELISA Kits) secretion in diabetes

  5. These data strongly suggest that overexpression of Sirt6 can prevent osteoarthritis development by reducing both the inflammatory response and chondrocytes senescence.

  6. Sirt6 depletion causes spindle defects and chromosome misalignment during meiosis of mouse oocyte

  7. In SIRT6-deficient mice there is impaired bone remodeling leading to osteopenia.

  8. SIRT6/NF-kappaB (show NFKB1 ELISA Kits) signaling axis in ginsenoside Rg1 (show PPP1R3A ELISA Kits)-delayed hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell senescence.

  9. Data showed the expression levels of SIRT1 (show SIRT1 ELISA Kits), SIRT3 (show SIRT3 ELISA Kits), and SIRT6 were decreased in the ovaries of aged mice and mice treated with chemotherapy, but increased in mice treated to caloric restriction suggesting these genes are closely related to ovarian reserve.

  10. Sodium sulfide protected brain endothelial cells against simulated ischemic injury through SIRT6-dependent mechanisms.

Sirtuin 6 (SIRT6) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a member of the sirtuin family of proteins, homologs to the yeast Sir2 protein. Members of the sirtuin family are characterized by a sirtuin core domain and grouped into four classes. The functions of human sirtuins have not yet been determined\; however, yeast sirtuin proteins are known to regulate epigenetic gene silencing and suppress recombination of rDNA. Studies suggest that the human sirtuins may function as intracellular regulatory proteins with mono-ADP-ribosyltransferase activity. The protein encoded by this gene is included in class IV of the sirtuin family. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
