Immunogen The immunogen for anti-SMARCC1 antibody: synthetic peptide directed towards the C terminal of human SMARCC1
Purification Purified using Protein A affinity column
Alternative Name SMARCC1 / BAF155
Background SMARCC1 is a member of the SWI/SNF family of proteins, whose members display helicase and ATPase activities and which are thought to regulate transcription of certain genes by altering the chromatin structure around those genes. The encoded protein is part of the large ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex SNF/SWI and contains a predicted leucine zipper motif typical of many transcription factors.
Alternate names: BRG1-associated factor 155, SWI/SNF complex 155 kDa subunit, SWI/SNF-related matrix- associated actin-dependent regulator of chromatin, subfamily C member 1
Gene ID 6599
NCBI Accession NP_003065
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Add 100 µL of distilled water to a final concentration of 1 mg/mL.
Handling Advice Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Storage 4 °C/-20 °C
Storage Comment Store lyophilized at 2-8°C or at -20°C long term. After reconstitution store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for up to one month or in aliquots at -20°C long term.
Expiry Date 12 months
