Immunogen Peptide with sequence KTSDITQARVKSC, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_002190.2.
Cross-Reactivity Rat (Rattus), Dog (Canine), Cow (Bovine)
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name IRF2
Background Synonyms: IRF2, interferon regulatory factor 2, DKFZp686F0244, IRF-2
Gene ID 3660, 16363
NCBI Accession NP_002190
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling, Transcription Factors, Innate Immunity, Cytokines
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:2000.
Western blot: Approx 48 kDa band observed in lysates of cell line Jurkat (calculated MW of 39.3 kDa according to NP_002190.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Li et al, Invest Ophthalmol Vis Sci. 1999 Apr,40(5):976-82., PMID: 10102295. In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing IRF2 bands of approx. 40 kDa and 45 kDa are observed. These bands are not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. Recommended concentration: 1-3 µg/mL.
