Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-QGPWPMHPAGMQ, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_002191.1, NP_116032.1, NP_001092097.1, NP_001092099.1.
Specificity This antibody is expected to recognize all four reported isoforms (NP_002191.1, NP_116032.1, NP_001092097.1, NP_001092099.1). Reported variants NP_001092100.1, NP_001092101.1, NP_001092098.1, NP_001092097.1 represent identical protein: Reported variants NP_116032.1, NP_001092100.1 represent identical protein:
Cross-Reactivity Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus), Cow (Bovine)
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name IRF5
Background Synonyms: IRF5, interferon regulatory factor 5, SLEB10
Gene ID 3663
NCBI Accession NP_116032, NP_001092099, NP_001092097, NP_002191
Research Area Chromatin and Nuclear Signaling, Transcription Factors, Innate Immunity, Cytokines
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.
Western blot: Approx 57 kDa band observed in lysates of cell line A549. In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing IRF5 a strong band of approx. 60 kDa is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. The calculated molecular size is 57.8 kDa according to NP_001092099.1. Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3 µg/mL. Chromatin immunoprecipitation: This antibody has been successfully used in human monocyte-derived dendritic cells.
