Alternative Name Centromere protein F (CENPF Antibody Abstract)
Background All names and symbols: CENPF, centromere protein F (350/400kD, mitosin), CENF, PRO1779, mitosin, AH antigen, CENP-F kinetochore protein, centromere protein F (400kD), cell-cycle-dependent 350K nuclear protein. Official Symbol: CENPF. RefSeq number(s): NP_057427. Gene ontology terms: cytoplasm, glutathione transferase activity, glutathione transferase activity, metabolism, transferase activity
Gene ID 1063
Application Notes Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64,000. Western Blot: Not yet tested - our routinely used western blotting protocol does not allow detection of proteins as large as the predicted size of approx. 358kDa according to NP_057427. Therefore we cannot recommend an optimal concentration and the product is investigative grade. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
