Immunogen Recombinant human NSD3 (383-660 aa) purified from E. coli
Clone 2-00E-009
Isotype IgG2b
Specificity The antibody recognizes human NSD3. Other species not tested.
Characteristics Synonyms: Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome candidate 1-like protein 1, Whistle, DC28, Histone-lysineN-methyltransferase NSD3, Nuclear SET domain-containing protein 3, WHSC1-like protein 1,WHSC1-like 1 isoform 9 with methyltransferase activity to lysine
Purification Protein-G Affinity Chromatography
Alternative Name WHSC1L1 / NSD3
Background This gene encoding NSD3 is related to the Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome candidate - 1 gene and encodes a protein with PWWP (proline-tryptophan-tryptophan-proline) domains. NSD3 is a Histone methyltransferase which preferentially methylates 'Lys-4' and 'Lys-27' of histone H3 and is amplified in several tumor cell lines and primary breast carcinomas.Synonyms: DC28, Histone-lysine N-methyltransferase NSD3, Nuclear SET domain-containing protein 3, WHSC1-like 1 isoform 9 with methyltransferase activity to lysine, WHSC1-like protein 1, Whistle, Wolf-Hirschhorn syndrome candidate 1-like protein 1
Gene ID 54904
UniProt Q9BZ95
Application Notes ELISA. Western blot (1: 1,000 - 1: 3,000), recommended starting dilution is 1: 2,000.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
