Immunogen PHA stimulated peripheral blood cells. Spleen cells from immunised Balb/c mice were fused with cells of the NS1 myeloma cell line.
Clone Y2-51
Isotype IgG1
Purification Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein G from tissue culture supernatant
Alternative Name CD61 / ITGB3
Background CD61 is a 105kD glycoprotein, which is also known as integrin beta 3 chain. This molecule associates with either the alpha IIb integrin (CD41) or the alpha V integrin (CD51) at the cell surface. CD61 is expressed on platelets and megakaryocytes in association with CD41, and on endothelial cells, monocytes, platelets and osteoclasts in association with CD51. CD61 is a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin, vWF, vitronectin and thrombospondin.Synonyms: GP3A, GPIIIa, Integrin beta-3, Platelet membrane glycoprotein IIIa
Gene ID 9606
UniProt P05106
Research Area CD Antigens, Surface Receptors of Immune Cells
Application Notes Flow Cytometry: use 10 μL of neat antibody to label 10^6 cells in 100 μL.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Reconstitution Restore with 1.0 mL distilled water.
Concentration 0.1mg/mL
Buffer PBS, pH 7.4 containing 0.09 % Sodium Azide as preservative and 1 % BSA as stabilizer.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use This product contains sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.
Handling Advice Dilute only prior to immediate use
Storage 4 °C
Storage Comment Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8 °C. DO NOT FREEZE! Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity.
