Application Notes: Peptide ELISA: Limit dilution 1: 32000. Western blot: 0.5-2 μg/mL. Approx 55 kDa and 45 kDa bands seen in mouse brain extracts. Please note that the two bands may correspond to two different isoforms. Two isoforms ofthe epsilon mRNA have been detected in Northern blots (J Biol Chem 1996 Sep6,271(36): 22081-9).
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Background: The product of this gene belongs to the phosphatase 2A regulatory subunit B family. Protein phosphatase 2A is one of the four major Ser/Thr phosphatases, and it is implicated in the negative control of cell growth and division. It consists of a common heteromeric core enzyme, which is composed of a catalytic subunit and a constant regulatory subunit, that associates with a variety of regulatory subunits. The B regulatory subunit might modulate substrate selectivity and catalytic activity.
