Immunogen Peptide with sequence GESGHLARECTIE, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence
Specificity This antibody reacts to RNF163.
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Species reactivity (expected):Mouse, Rat, Canine.
Species reactivity (tested):Human.
Purification Affinity chromatography
Alternative Name CNBP (CNBP Antibody Abstract)
Background CNBP, also called ZNF9, contains 7 zinc finger domains and is believed to function as an RNA-binding protein. A CCTG expansion in intron 1 of the ZNF9 gene results in myotonic dystrophy type 2. It is also a single stranded DNA-binding protein, with specificity to the sterol regulatory element (SRE). It is involved in sterol-mediated repression.Synonyms: Cellular nucleic acid-binding protein, RNF163, ZNF9, Zinc finger protein 9
Gene ID 7555, 9606
UniProt P62633
Pathways
