Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-ETQKHKKDLHPLFD, from the internal region of the protein sequence
Specificity This antibody reacts to Munc13-4 / UNC13D. Species Reactivity: Tested: Human. Expected from sequence similarity: Mouse, Rat, Canine.
Purification Affinity chromatography
Alternative Name UNC13D
Background Secretion of the contents of cytolytic granules at the immunologic synapse is a highly regulated process essential for lymphocyte cytotoxicity. This process requires the rapid transfer of perforin containing lytic granules to the target cell interface, followed by their docking and fusion with the plasma membrane. Munc 13-4 localises with cytotoxic granules at the immunologic synapse. Munc 13-4 is essential for the priming step of cytolytic granule secretion preceding vesicle membrane fusion. There are two named isoforms.
Alternate names: Munc13-4, Protein unc-13 homolog D
Gene ID 201294, 9606
UniProt Q70J99
Application Notes ELISA: 1/128000. Western Blot: 1 - 3 µg/ml. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections: 2.5 µg/ml. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
