Immunogen Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human MTMR12
Predicted Reactivity Bovine : 100 %, Dog : 100 %, Guinea pig : 90 %, Pig : 90 %, Rabbit : 90 %, Horse : 80 %
Characteristics This is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against MTMR12. It was validated on Western Blot using a cell lysate as a positive control.
Purification Affinity Purified
Alternative Name MTMR12
Background MTMR12 inactives phosphatase that plays a role as an adapter for the phosphatase myotubularin to regulate myotubularin intracellular location.Phosphatidylinositide 3-kinase-derived membrane-anchored phosphatidylinositides, such as phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate (PtdIns(3)P), regulate diverse cellular processes. The protein encoded by this gene functions as an adaptor subunit in a complex with an active PtdIns(3)P 3-phosphatase. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified, but their biological validity has not been determined.
Molecular Weight 86 kDa
Gene ID 54545
NCBI Accession NM_001040446, NP_001035536
UniProt Q9C0I1
Application Notes Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
