Immunogen This XDH antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 206-234 AA from the N-terminal region of human XDH.
Clone RB23202
Isotype Ig
Specificity This XDH antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 213~242 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human XDH.
Purification This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Alternative Name XDH (XDH Antibody Abstract)
Background XDH belongs to the group of molybdenum-containing hydroxylases involved in the oxidative metabolism of purines. The enzyme is a homodimer. This protein can be converted to xanthine oxidase by reversible sulfhydryl oxidation or by irreversible proteolytic modification. Defects in xanthine dehydrogenase cause xanthinuria, may contribute to adult respiratory stress syndrome, and may potentiate influenza infection through an oxygen metabolite-dependent mechanism.
