Mac-1(-/-) pups have reduced numbers of type I alveolar cells, respiratory failure and low survival.
data provide evidence that the NLRC4 (show NLRC4 ELISA Kits) inflammasome contributes to resistance through regulation of caspase-1 (show CASP1 ELISA Kits), IL-1beta (show IL1B ELISA Kits) and IL-18 (show IL18 ELISA Kits) in a CD11blowLy6Glow population of cells
CD11b+Gr-1 (show GSR ELISA Kits)+ myeloid-derived suppressor cells suppress T cells in an IFN-gamma (show IFNG ELISA Kits)- and nitric oxide-dependent manner to reduce atherosclerotic lesion development in LDLr (show LDLR ELISA Kits) deficient mice.
Mesenteric lymph node CD11b(-) CD103 (show ITGAE ELISA Kits)(+) PD-L1 (show CD274 ELISA Kits)(High) dendritic cell subset probably takes up luminal antigens in the intestine, migrates to MLNs, and highly induces regulatory T cells through TGF-beta (show TGFB1 ELISA Kits) activation.
TLR-stimulated macrophages from CD11B SNP carriers showed increased basal expression of IFN regulatory factor 7 (IRF7 (show IRF7 ELISA Kits)) and IFN-beta (show IFNB1 ELISA Kits), as well as increased nuclear exclusion of FOXO3 (show FOXO3 ELISA Kits), which was suppressed by LA1-dependent activation of CD11b.
The single nucleotide polymorphism rs1143678 substitutes Pro(1146) for Ser (show SIGLEC1 ELISA Kits) in the integrin alphaM cytoplasmic tail generates a noncanonical 14-3-3zeta (show YWHAZ ELISA Kits) binding site that modulates integrin alphaM(PS)beta2 outside-in signaling
a novel role for CR3 and microglia in brain Abeta (show APP ELISA Kits) metabolism and defining a potential new therapeutic target in Alzheimer disease.
Oral treatment with the mucosal adjuvant cholera toxin (CT) induces expression of T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain containing 4 (TIM-4 (show TIMD4 ELISA Kits)) on a proportion of CD103 (show ITGAE ELISA Kits)+ CD11b+ dendritic cell (DC) in the intestinal lamina propria (LP).
this study shows that genetic deletion of CD11b confers collagen-induced arthritis susceptibility through IL-6 (show IL6 ELISA Kits)-mediated Th17 differentiation in C57BL/6 mice, which are normally resistant to this disease
RBC (show CACNA1C ELISA Kits)-leukocyte interactions are significantly diminished in Mac-1-deficient SCD (show SCD ELISA Kits) mice, leading to an improvement of blood flow rates and prolonged survival time in a tumor necrosis factor-alpha (show TNF ELISA Kits) and surgical-trauma-induced VOC model. Mac-1-deletion, however, was not sufficient to reduce SCD (show SCD ELISA Kits)-related chronic organ damage.
Increased CD11b+ and CD200+ monocytes in those with a strong presence of BVN indicate that BVN development may be associated with retinal injury and a VEGF-mediated process that is either reflected or propelled by systemic changes in monocytes.
This study, we provide evidence supporting a crucial pathogenic role for alphaM-integrin (CD11b) in acute inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy mononuclear leukocyte trafficking.
FRbeta (show FOLR2 ELISA Kits) as a novel CD11b/CD18 regulator for trafficking and homing of a subset of macrophages on collagen.
this study shows that upregulation of CD11b after stimulation with IL-8 (show IL8 ELISA Kits) is more pronounced in adults than in neonates, whereas fMLP (show FPR1 ELISA Kits) induces changes in receptor expression that are of the same magnitude in neutrophils from neonates as from adults
Ingestion of amino acid supplement did not influence CD11b expression.
This metaanalysis indicates that polymorphisms in the pathways of immune complex clearance, such as the FcgammaRIIIa, FcgammaRIIIb, and ITGAM genotypes, are potential susceptibility genes for neuropsychiatric systemic lupus erythematosus.
Monocyte-platelet aggregates and CD11b expression on monocytes and granulocytes are increased in atrial fibrillation patients with proven thrombus formation. They seem to be appropriate biomarkers for stratification of thromboembolic risk in patients with AF.
CD11b immunophenotyping identifies inflammatory profiles in the mouse and human lungs.
There is direct interaction between C3(H2O) and CD11b. Contact-activated C3(H2O) is a novel ligand for CD11b/CD18 that mediates platelet-PMN (show TBCE ELISA Kits) complex formation and the binding of platelet-derived microparticles to PMNs.
These data describe the presence of specific pattern recognition receptor transcripts in the mRNA isolated from bovine neutrophil and show a CD11b-/Ca(2 (show CA2 ELISA Kits)+) dependent ROS (show ROS1 ELISA Kits) production
The molecular cloning and characterization of CD11b from cattle and its similarities to other species are presented.
This gene encodes the integrin alpha M chain. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This I-domain containing alpha integrin combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form a leukocyte-specific integrin referred to as macrophage receptor 1 ('Mac-1'), or inactivated-C3b (iC3b) receptor 3 ('CR3'). The alpha M beta 2 integrin is important in the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to stimulated endothelium, and also in the phagocytosis of complement coated particles. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
