Mouse (Murine) Kallikrein 8 (KLK8) interaction partners

  1. Letter: NGF (show NGFB ELISA Kits)-p75 (show NGFR ELISA Kits) and neuropsin/KLK8 pathways may cooperate in regulation of epidermal homeostasis in inflamed skin.

  2. Klk8 is involved in the proliferation and migration of keratinocytes through Klk6 (show KLK1 ELISA Kits) in the early stages of wound healing, and possibly in keratinocyte differentiation associated with the upregulation of PAR2 (show F2RL1 ELISA Kits) in the late stages of wound healing.

  3. KLK8 is involved in synaptic tagging during LTP (show SCP2 ELISA Kits) at basal and apical dendritic inputs.

  4. the serine protease (show F2 ELISA Kits) neuropsin is critical for stress-related plasticity in the amygdala by regulating the dynamics of the EphB2 (show EPHB2 ELISA Kits)-NMDA-receptor interaction, the expression of Fkbp5 (show FKBP5 ELISA Kits) and anxiety-like behaviour

  5. Klk8 might thus be involved in tissue development and rearrangement.

  6. role of loop structures in the activity of serine protease (show F2 ELISA Kits) and regulated secretion

  7. Neuropsin was localized extracellularly in neuronal cell bodies and their neurites in mouse hippocampus. Neuropsin may be involved in neurite outgrowth during the development of the nervous system.

  8. gene expression of a serine-protease (show F2 ELISA Kits) neuropsin in the mouse vagina, and as a marker of the estrogen-independent persistent proliferation and cornification of the vaginal epithelium

  9. Neuropsin is the first extracellular protease to show the evident induction of expression and activity by decidualization and might contribute to the remodeling of extracellular components after decidualization.

  10. mouse MCs (show SMCP ELISA Kits) store at least two distinct families of tryptic-like proteases in their secretory granules, including PRSS19

Human Kallikrein 8 (KLK8) interaction partners

  1. mRNA expression levels of KLK6 (show KLK1 ELISA Kits) and KLK8 in advanced serous ovarian cancer

  2. elevated KLK8 expression was correlated with the progression of colorectal cancer.

  3. KLK8 mRNA expression is associated with aggressive tumor characteristics and it can serve as a novel independent biomarker of unfavorable prognosis for BC patients.

  4. Occurring independently of cyclophilins and of furin (show FURIN ELISA Kits) that mediate human papillomavirus 16 L2 exposure, KLK8-mediated cleavage of L1 likely facilitated access to L2, located in the capsid lumen, and potentially uncoating.

  5. It dissects a schizophrenic susceptibility gene, NRG1 (show NRG1 ELISA Kits).

  6. KLK8 and KLK14 (show KLK14 ELISA Kits) can signal differentially via the PARs (show EPRS ELISA Kits) to affect tissue function

  7. KLK8 as a new active serine protease (show F2 ELISA Kits) in human stratum corneum and sweat

  8. The results of this study indicate that most salivary gland tumors show high levels of expression of KLK8.

  9. The KLK8-T4 alternative splice variant, alone or in combination, may be a new independent marker of unfavorable prognosis in lung cancer.

  10. Cervical cancer expressed high level of TADG-14. May play important role in invasion and metastasis. Appears only in abundance in tumor tissue and contains secretion signal sequence. Possible diagnostic use or as therapeutic target.

Kallikrein 8 (KLK8) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases having diverse physiological functions. Growing evidence suggests that many kallikreins are implicated in carcinogenesis and some have potential as novel cancer and other disease biomarkers. This gene is one of the fifteen kallikrein subfamily members located in a cluster on chromosome 19. Alternate splicing of this gene results in four transcript variants encoding four different isoforms. The isoforms exhibit distinct patterns of expression that suggest roles in brain plasticity and ovarian cancer.
