More ELISA Kits for Carboxypeptidase E Interaction Partners

Human Carboxypeptidase E (CPE) interaction partners

  1. CPE through its N'-terminal sequence, forms aggregates with Wnt3a (show WNT3A ELISA Kits) and possible endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress leading to its loss of function.

  2. we have identified a novel SNP in the CPE gene which results in the loss of its neuroprotective function in cells and may confer neurological disorders in humans

  3. High-level CPE [ carboxypeptidase E] expression was associated with a poor prognosis in early-stage cervical cancer. CPE may serve as a biomarker for predicting PLNM [ pelvic lymph node metastasis ] and survival in these patients.

  4. Low carboxypeptidase E expression is associated with recurrence in early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma.

  5. Down-expression of liver carboxypeptidase E may reduce the secretion of serum cholecystokinin (show CCK ELISA Kits) and contribute to the formation of cholesterol gallstone.

  6. Downregulation of CPE regulates cell proliferation and chemosensitivity in pancreatic cancer.

  7. Disruption of insulin receptor (IR (show INSR ELISA Kits)) expression in beta cells has a direct impact on the expression of the convertase enzyme carboxypeptidase E (CPE) by inhibition of the eukaryotic translation initiation factor (show EIF2A ELISA Kits) Eif4g1 (show EIF4G1 ELISA Kits).

  8. Upregulation of CPE promotes cell proliferation and tumorigenicity in colorectal cancer.

  9. Data suggest that splice variant of carboxypeptidase E (CPE-DeltaN) that CPE-DeltaN expression might be a potential prognostic marker for colorectal cancer patients.

  10. CPE is essential in the process and targeting of neuropeptides and neurotrophins, its participation in the pathological progression of Alzheimer's disease may be suggested

Mouse (Murine) Carboxypeptidase E (CPE) interaction partners

  1. we show by RNA silencing that CPE and SgIII (show SCG3 ELISA Kits) play a synergistic role in the trafficking of POMC (show POMC ELISA Kits) to granules of the regulated secretory pathway in AtT20 cells

  2. An anti-inflammatory role of CPE in the intestine by influencing local cytokine levels and thus regulating the migration of myeloid immune cells into the mucosa.

  3. This study shown that NF-alpha1-mediated upregulation of hippocampal FGF2 (show FGF2 ELISA Kits) and neurogenesis prevents an onset of chronic stress-induced depressive-like behavior

  4. The neuroprotective effect of CPE-DeltaN against neuronal glutamate (show GRIN1 ELISA Kits) neurotoxicity was mediated by secreted FGF2 (show FGF2 ELISA Kits).

  5. Carboxypeptidase E is an important modulator of RANKL (show TNFSF11 ELISA Kits)-induced osteoclast differentiation.

  6. Report the effects of ovalbumin (show OVA ELISA Kits) sensitization and challenge on oscillatory mechanics of the lung and pulmonary inflammation in obese carboxypeptidase E-deficient mice.

  8. This study has identified CPE as a new neurotrophic factor (show NTF3 ELISA Kits) that can protect neurons against degeneration.

  9. Data suggests that CPE plays critical role in neuroprotection/allostasis in hippocampal neurons during mild chronic stress; up-regulation of CPE and BCL2 (B cell leukemia/lymphoma 2) expression is possibly mediated by glucocorticoids.

  10. There are multiple mechanisms for sorting proglucagon (show GCG ELISA Kits) to the regulated secretory pathway, including a role for carboxypeptidase E in pancreatic alpha cells, initial cleavage at K70R71 and multiple sorting signals.

Carboxypeptidase E (CPE) Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

This gene encodes a carboxypeptidase that cleaves C-terminal amino acid residues and is involved in the biosynthesis of peptide hormones and neurotransmitters, including insulin. It is a peripheral membrane protein. The protein specifically binds regulated secretory pathway proteins, including prohormones, but not constitutively secreted proteins. Mutations in this gene are implicated in type II diabetes.
