Human serine/threonine Kinase 4 (STK4) interaction partners

  1. TNFAIP8 regulates Hippo (MST1/2) signaling through its interaction with LATS1.

  2. Data suggest that Hippo (MST1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits)/2 protein kinases) - Yes associated protein 1 (YAP (show YAP1 ELISA Kits)) pathway involved in carcinogenesis of pancreatic cancer and in the inhibition effect of stiehopus japonieus acidic mucopolysaccharide (SJAMP) to the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cell.

  3. our results identified that mammalian sterile 20-like kinase 1 is a novel downstream target of pyruvate kinase M2, and knockdown of pyruvate kinase M2 contributes apoptosis via promoting nuclear translocation of mammalian sterile 20-like kinase 1 by enhancing Caspase-3 (show CASP3 ELISA Kits)-dependent cleavage.

  4. H-ras (show HRAS ELISA Kits), via an Erk (show EPHB2 ELISA Kits)-dependent mechanism, downregulates Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits)/Mst2 (show STK3 ELISA Kits) activity by inducing the formation of inactive Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits)/Mst2 (show STK3 ELISA Kits) heterodimers.

  5. Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits) as a novel physiological negative regulator of IRF3 (show IRF3 ELISA Kits) activation provides mechanistic insights into innate antiviral defense and potential antiviral prevention strategies.

  6. Data indicate that two siblings with a serine/threonine kinase 4 (STK4) mutation with features of autosomal recessive (AR) hyperimmunoglobulin E syndrome and autoimmune cytopenias.

  7. STK4 was reduced in macrophages from human hepatoma patients and was inversely associated with the levels of IRAK1, IL-6, and phospho-p65 or phospho-STAT3. Serum STK4 levels were specifically decreased in HCC patients with high levels of IL-6.

  8. The MST1/2-SAV1 complex, a core component of the Hippo pathway, promotes ciliogenesis.

  9. the kinase Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits) controls selective CCR7 (show CCR7 ELISA Kits)-dependent functions in human mature dendritic cells.

  10. Genetic inactivation of STK4 restores YAP1 (show YAP1 ELISA Kits) levels, triggering cell death in hematologic malignancies.

Mouse (Murine) serine/threonine Kinase 4 (STK4) interaction partners

  1. Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits) deficiency promotes post-traumatic spinal motor neuron survival via enhancement of autophagy flux.

  2. mammalian sterile 20-like kinase 1 (Mst1) knockout abolished the protective effects of Luteolin administration in a mouse model of myocardial infarction.

  3. Studies indicate that Hippo (Hpo (show GFER ELISA Kits); MST1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits)/2 in mammals) signaling pathway plays a central role in the cell fate-specification process.

  4. Data (including data from studies in knockout/transgenic mice) suggest Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits) has functional roles in cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and in inhibition of tumor progression/size of T-cell lymphoma; Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits) may be involved in tumor immunity/immunologic surveillance.

  5. the TLR-Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits)-Mst2 (show STK3 ELISA Kits)-Rac (show AKT1 ELISA Kits) signaling axis is critical for effective phagosome-mitochondrion function and bactericidal activity

  6. Macrophage-specific Stk4 deletion resulted in chronic inflammation, liver fibrosis, and hepatomas in mice exposed to liver insult.

  7. STK4 is a novel candidate biomarker for early stage pancreatic cancer.

  8. Phosphorylation of LC3 (show MAP1LC3A ELISA Kits) by the STK3 (show PKN1 ELISA Kits) and STK4 is essential for autophagy.

  9. These results identify MST2 (show STK3 ELISA Kits), not MST1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits), as a critical regulator of caspase (show CASP3 ELISA Kits)-mediated photoreceptor cell death in the detached retina and indicate its potential as a future neuroprotection target.

  10. Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits)/2 regulate placental development by control of trophoblast cell differentiation and labyrinthine vasculature at midgestation and Mst1 (show MST1 ELISA Kits)/2 control labyrinth morphogenesis in trophoblast- and fetal endothelial-dependent manners.

STK4 Antigen Profile

Antigen Summary

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytoplasmic kinase that is structurally similar to the yeast Ste20p kinase, which acts upstream of the stress-induced mitogen-activated protein kinase cascade. The encoded protein can phosphorylate myelin basic protein and undergoes autophosphorylation. A caspase-cleaved fragment of the encoded protein has been shown to be capable of phosphorylating histone H2B. The particular phosphorylation catalyzed by this protein has been correlated with apoptosis, and it's possible that this protein induces the chromatin condensation observed in this process.
