Rat (Rattus) PODXL ELISA Kit for Sandwich ELISA - ABIN578102
Guo, Zhang, Wang, Ren, Zhou, Ma, Wu, Qin: Effects of FoxO1 on podocyte injury in diabetic rats. in Biochemical and biophysical research communications 2015
Data show that both mucin16 (MUC16 (show MUC16 ELISA Kits)) and podocalyxin (PODXL)-E-selectin (show SELE ELISA Kits)-mediated interactions are mechanically stronger than like L-selectin (show SELL ELISA Kits) interactions at the single-molecule level.
In gastric cancer, PODXL expression by the polyclonal antibody HPA2110 is an independent marker of poor prognosis.
PCX (show PC ELISA Kits) promotes cisplatin chemoresistance in osteosarcoma cells through a PI3Kdependent mechanism.
EZR (show EZR ELISA Kits), CLIC5 (show CLIC5 ELISA Kits) and PODXL are overexpressed in hepatocellular carcinoma and may have a role in cell migration and invasiveness
PODXL up-regulates the expression level of Bmi1 (show BMI1 ELISA Kits) in OTSCC cells.
podocalyxin to be an independent factor for poor prognosis in PDAC. To our knowledge, this is the first such report of its prognostic value.
miR (show MLXIP ELISA Kits)-125b was found to be important in arteriosclerosis obliterans by suppressing the expression of PODXL and may serve as a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans.
We show that podocalyxin plays a key role in the formation of primary tumors and distant tumor metastasis.
PCLP1 expressed on breast tumor cells may function as an immunomodulatory molecule, which may represent a mechanism to evade the immune response.
These findings show that overexpression of PODXL enhanced invadopodia formation and tumor metastasis by inducing Rac1/Cdc42 (show CDC42 ELISA Kits)/cortactin (show CTTN ELISA Kits) signaling network.
Podocalyxin has a role in glioblastoma multiforme cell invasion and proliferation via beta-catenin (show CTNNB1 ELISA Kits) signaling
Loss of podocalyxin from the lung vasculature results in changes to the lung structure and function including increased lung volume when inflated under constant pressure (25 cm H2O) and changes to the matrix composition.
CTGF (show CTGF ELISA Kits) is an important mediator of high glucose-induced podocyte damage and decreases the protein level of podocalyxin by the ERK1/2 (show MAPK1/3 ELISA Kits) pathway.
platelet Podxl is involved in the control of hemostasis acting as a platelet co-stimulator, likely due to its pro-adhesive properties
Full-length recombinant murine podocalyxin recruits NHERF-1 (show SLC9A3R1 ELISA Kits) to the apical domain. Ectopic expression in human & canine epithelial cells leads to microvilli formation on an apical domain extending laterally to the junctional complexes.
Podocalyxin plays multiple roles in neural development
PODXL may act as a costimulator of agonists in the activation of platelets and formation of a stable thrombus.
Data show that in podocalyxin-deficient mice, the thickness of the main carotid artery is significantly increased, and there is an increased number of choroidal capillaries lining the ventricular spaces.
Podocalyxin mRNA was widely expressed at least from E14, the first age we studied, and expression remained high until adulthood
In mice expressing an Erythropoietin receptor (show EPOR ELISA Kits) allele, compromised erythropoietin (show EPO ELISA Kits)-induced podocalyxin expression correlated with enucleated red cells in bone marrow.
This gene encodes a member of the sialomucin protein family. The encoded protein was originally identified as an important component of glomerular podocytes. Podocytes are highly differentiated epithelial cells with interdigitating foot processes covering the outer aspect of the glomerular basement membrane. Other biological activities of the encoded protein include: binding in a membrane protein complex with Na+/H+ exchanger regulatory factor to intracellular cytoskeletal elements, playing a role in hematopoetic cell differentiation, and being expressed in vascular endothelium cells and binding to L-selectin.
