- Background
- CD99 is a 32kD glycoprotein expressed by all leucocytes. CD99 expression tends to be highest on immature cells. Functionally CD99 has been found to be involved in lymphocyte adhesion/aggregation and apoptosis.Synonyms: 12E7, E2 antigen, MIC2X, MIC2Y, Protein MIC2, T-cell surface glycoprotein E2
